As the fall season comes to a close, the University of Illinois will hold onto the top spot and remain the #1 team in the latest Top 20 Poll.  The Fighting Illini will have a bullseye on it’s back once the spring portion of the season starts.  They look poised to make another long post-season run.  They are a fixture at the World Series since the NCSA inaugural year in 2006.  Will 2026 be the year they hoist the National Championship Trophy over their heads?  Something they haven’t done since 2008.  We’ll soon find out.

Lot’s more softball yet to be played and lots more movement in this months Top 20.  Where does your favorite team land as we head into break?
