No surprise as to who claims the top spot in the Rawlings NCSA DI Preseason Top 20.  The defending 2026 champions, the North Carolina State Wolfpack are atop the rankings earning 14 of the 15 1st place votes.  The 2026 runners-up Purdue Boilermakers come in at #4 and earn a 1st place vote.  Illinois, UConn, and UC-Davis round out the top 5.
