REGIONALS DAY 2: WS FIELD SET!

Huge shoutout to our Regional Directors, Umpires and Field Crews for making this weekend possible.  Congratulations to the following teams for winning their respective Regional and punching their ticket to the NCSA DI World Series.  They’ll have an opportunity to become National Champions in just a couple weeks.

  • University of Illinois  – Great American Regional Champion
  • University of Michigan – Great Lakes Regional Champion
  • North Carolina State University – Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion
  • University of Colorado – Mid-America Regional Champion
  • University of Connecticut – New England Regional Champion
  • Penn State University – North Atlantic Regional Champion
  • University of California-Davis – Pacific Regional Champion
  • University of Central Florida – South Atlantic Regional Champion

Each Regional Runner-Up also clinched a spot in the DI World Series.  Congratulations to Purdue , Wisconsin, James Madison, Air Force, Vermont, Maryland, Oregon and South Carolina. They will have a chance to be this year’s Cinderella team.

Tomorrow, the opening round pool play bracket for the NCSA DI World Series will be released, so be sure to stay tuned and check back often!

NCSA DI REGIONALS: DAY 1

Shoutout to all the Regional Directors that put in a lot of hard work today!  Mother Nature didn’t always cooperate, but our Regionals Directors, Field Crews, Umpires and Teams made everything work!

The New England and North Atlantic Regionals got started earlier this morning to try to beat the weather. The North Atlantic was able to play two games while the New England got in four games. Both of these tournaments will be picked back up tomorrow before the Championship Games. The other 6 Regionals were able to stay on track, with tomorrow solely featuring Championship Sunday.

With 6 Regional Championship Games set, we’d like to offer a huge congratulations to the following teams for qualifying for the NCSA DI World Series: University of Illinois, Purdue University, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, North Carolina State University, James Madison University, University of Colorado, U.S. Air Force Academy, University of Connecticut, University of California – Davis, University of Oregon, University of Central Florida, and the University of South Carolina. Just three spots still up for grabs and Regional Championships still to play for.  First pitches will be bright and early in the morning!

RAWLINGS WEEK 33 NCSA DI TOP 20

As we head into Regionals weekend, 3 teams receive 1st place votes with Illinois leading the way and UConn and UC – Davis following. There’s a lot of shuffling in the Top 20 with 2 new teams joining the fold.

Which of these teams will be able to punch their ticket to the NCSA World Series this weekend?

POSTSEASON BOUND

Congratulations to the following teams for punching their ticket to the 2025 NCSA DI Postseason.  The University of Michigan, Grand Valley State, and Purdue University.  Congratulations are also in order for our at-large bids.  The University of Colorado, Cornell University, Cal State – Fullerton, and the University of Maryland have all been awarded at-large bids to compete in the postseason.

Michigan won their respective conference, while Grand Valley State and Purdue finished 2nd in their respective conference.

REGIONAL BRACKETS FINALIZED!

Welcome to the 2026 NCSA Division I Postseason!

Before you can hoist the National Championship Trophy above your head you have to make it through Regionals.  This year features 32 talented teams from all across the country.  The winner and runner-up from each Regional Tournament will move on to the National Championship Tournament.  Who will qualify for the 2026 NCSA Division I World Series? Well, we’re only a week away!

Wisconsin, UW – Whitewater, Ohio, Cincinnati, Iowa State, UNC – Chapel Hill, Air Force, St. Bonaventure, Vermont, Grand Canyon, Tennessee, and Florida have punched their ticket to the 2026 NCSA Division I Postseason. Congratulations!

RAWLINGS WEEK 31 NCSA DI TOP 20

Unanimous no more! The University of Illinois stays on top, but UConn receives a first-place vote as they make a late-season push. The top 3 remain the same, but plenty of movement in the top 20 as 3 new teams join the fold.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

The University of Northern Colorado will remain on probation for the remainder of the 2025-2026 NCSA Season for violation of NCSA Rule 20.01.0.  They forfeited 3 conference games during Week 29 of the NCSA Season.

26/27 NEW TEAM!

Creighton University has officially joined the NCSA for the 2026-2027 season! The NCSA is excited to welcome the Bluejays as the third new team to join for the ’26-’27 season.
