Katie was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia.  She started playing softball in kindergarten and continued on to play travel ball through high school. Katie played middle infield for the Club Softball team at Virginia Tech and helped the team to take home two national championships. She served as program director and president for the Hokies while earning her Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Public Health. 

Katie cannot express how thankful she is for club softball. It allowed her to make lifelong friends and memories that she will always cherish. She is grateful to be able to give back to the association that provided her with such a fantastic opportunity to continue playing the sport she loves. Katie is excited to join the NCSA team as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director!
