The Mid Atlantic is home to the reigning National Champions, the North Carolina State Wolfpack. NC State was dominant all season with a perfect 15-0 record against other World Series teams.  The Wolfpack will look to repeat their title, but the Mid Atlantic is no easy road. James Madison, Virginia Tech, and UNC will all be looking to make it back to the Regional Tournament and knock off the champs Can NC State repeat as National Champions?

The South Atlantic Region comes in as one of the toughest in the country.  The University of Central Florida had a great season – clinching the conference title, winning the Regional Tournament, and a strong showing at the World Series. Can they hold off one of the largest conferences in the country? The South Carolina Gamecocks finished as Runners Up in the Region and will look to bring home the title this year. Do they have what it takes to knock off the Knights? Will another team make a run at the title?
