The Fighting Illini stay put at the #1 position in the Rawlings Week 7 NCSA DI Top 20 Poll. With one more series against a solid Missouri team to close out the fall portion of their season, Illinois sits with an unblemished conference record at 6-0 and 11-1 overall.

The big news is James Madison closing out their fall portion of the season with a very impressive 8-1 conference record. The Mid-Atlantic North is maybe the toughest in the country and JMU went through the gauntlet, facing #6 Navy, #15 Virginia Tech and #19 Maryland in conference play and their only loss being to Navy. After that incredible run, the Dukes jump into the top 3.
