It’s not where you start, it’s where you finish and the United States Air Force Academy is the #1 team in the country when it matters the most.  They claim the top spot unanimously in the Rawlings Final NCSA DI Top 20. and now will be the team to beat in 24/25.

This is the first time Air Force claims the #1 spot after sitting at #2 in the previous polls.  The lowest position they ever were was #12 in the Week 3 Top 20.  They consistently rose in the rankings from each week culminating at the top spot in the Final Top 20 Poll of the 23-24 season.

Hats off to all the NCSA Teams from the 2023-2024 season.  See you all next year as were just a few short months away from first pitch of the 2024-2025 season!

Your 2024 NCSA Division I World Series MVP is Senior Lindsey Weber from the U.S. Air Force Academy!  Not only did Lindsey excel all tournament long, she hit a game tying single with two outs in the bottom of the 7^th inning to tie the game up at 1.  Air Force eventually finished the job in the bottom of the 8^th to claim the National Championship.

The 2024 NCSA Division I National Champions are the United States Air Force Academy Falcons!  They defeated Illinois twice in the Championship Round to capture their first ever NCSA National Championship!  In the winner take all game, Air Force hit a walk off single in the bottom of the 8^th inning to win 2-1!
