RAWLINGS APRIL NCSA TOP 20

The Hokies from Virginia Tech have finally been dethroned from atop the NCSA rankings with Sacred Heart University-Red taking over the top position.  Virginia Tech sat at #1 since the preseason rankings were released in September only to drop to #3 after some non-conference series losses to NCSU and UNC.

Sacred Heart-Red is now #1 with an unblemished record of 25-0 (12-0 in conference).  Not far behind is the University of Wisconsin in the #2 spot with VT, Air Force and Georgia rounding out the Top 5.  The biggest mover is the University of Iowa, jumping 12 spots from #20 to #8 after some big non-conference wins!

APRIL 1ST ROSTER FREEZE

The NCSA Roster Freeze is April 1st.  After that date, no players can be added to NCSA rosters.  It is essential for teams to go online to the NCSA website and confirm their rosters are accurate since there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.

Teams are encouraged to go the TEAMS page, find their team, then select “Team Roster.” This is their official team roster.  Teams should check, then double check that all players are listed that should be listed.  Since the roster removal period has ended, no players can be removed, but players can be added up until their roster has reached 25 players or April 1st has passed.
