Shoutout to all the Regional Directors that put in a lot of hard work today! Mother Nature didn’t always cooperate, but our Regionals Directors, Field Crews, Umpires and Teams made everything work!
The New England and North Atlantic Regionals got started earlier this morning to try to beat the weather. The North Atlantic was able to play two games while the New England got in four games. Both of these tournaments will be picked back up tomorrow before the Championship Games. The other 6 Regionals were able to stay on track, with tomorrow solely featuring Championship Sunday.
With 6 Regional Championship Games set, we’d like to offer a huge congratulations to the following teams for qualifying for the NCSA DI World Series: University of Illinois, Purdue University, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, North Carolina State University, James Madison University, University of Colorado, U.S. Air Force Academy, University of Connecticut, University of California – Davis, University of Oregon, University of Central Florida, and the University of South Carolina. Just three spots still up for grabs and Regional Championships still to play for. First pitches will be bright and early in the morning!
